Conner and Isadora (Izzy) had the Fort Walton Beach Wedding of their dreams at The Island resort in early May. I first got the chance to meet these two at their engagement session almost a year before in Perdido Key and knew right away that their day was going to be absolutely amazing!
Izzy started her day by getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite at the resort. The vintage vibes and plentiful windows were the perfect backdrop for this part of the story. She chose to do a first look with her bridesmaids and their reaction was perfect!
Conner had booked another room at the resort for himself and the guys – and of course their furbaby Ginger who got to hang out with dad while they were getting ready! During this part of the day I got to deliver a special photo book Izzy had printed for Conner as a wedding gift. His reaction was even better than the bridesmaids first look, haha!
Fort Walton Beach wedding s are almost always, well, on the beach but Conner and Izzy broke tradition and had their ceremony on the green lawn at the resort. This ensured easy accessibility for all their guests and no strangers in speedos hanging around their setup(my biggest pet peeve).
Conner and Izzy’s Fort Walton Beach wedding was 100% a reflection of them and the things they loved. They mixed modern trends with timeless classics but in the end they only cared about what made them happy (see more about wedding ins and outs HERE). They ended the night with a private dance and a sparkler sendoff, complete with Ginger by their side.
