Grab your flip-flops and shades because we’re about to dive into the sun-soaked tale of Katelyn and Sam’s picture-perfect wedding on the stunning shores of 30A in Florida. Picture this: a beachy breeze, toes in the sand, and love in the air. Let’s rewind to the day where Katelyn and Sam said “I do” in the most beautiful 30a wedding!
30A, also known as the “Sunshine State’s Secret Weapon of Beauty,” played host to Katelyn and Sam’s nuptials. Known for its pristine beaches and laid-back vibes, 30A set the stage for a wedding that was equal parts elegance and flip-flop friendly. The venue was a coastal dream, complete with swaying palm trees and the soothing sound of waves crashing in the background.
Katelyn’s gown was a boho-beach dream, adorned with lace and sheer cutouts. It also had plenty of movement so dancing was a breeze <3
Their beach house venue was light and bright, and the neutral color palette was perfect for photos. Sam got ready on the main floor while Katelyn reserved the primary suite for herself.
The couple chose to have only those nearest and dearest with them on their wedding day, so the moments shared were even more special. Sam’s mom stepped in to help him with his boutonniere and Katelyns grandma was there to help her into her dress.
Katelyn did first looks not only with Sam, but with her brother and mom as well! They all got to see their girl dressed up and ready for the big day in a super special, intimate way.
At their first look Katelyn surprised Sam with a photo of his grandfather who had passed before the wedding. With this pin Sam was able to have his grandfather there with him on the big day.
Sam and Katelyn tossed convention to the wind and chose to walk down the aisle together! Their sweet and simple wedding ceremony was held on the large balcony of their 30A beach house just steps away from the beach.
After the ceremony and family photos I got to steal the couple away for some portraits around the neighborhood. We were totally vibing with the neutral tones and architecture on 30A.
Afterwards we went back to the beach house for an intimate gathering of friends and family while the cake was cut and toasts were made.
Later in the evening Sam and Katelyn hosted a bonfire for their wide group of friends and were able to celebrate in the fun carefree way they had always imagined!
As the night came to a close, Katelyn and Sam bid farewell to their loved ones at the beachside bonfire. Friends and family gathered around the warmth, sharing stories, roasting marshmallows, and making memories that would last a lifetime.
And so, under the stars and with the sound of the ocean as their lullaby, Katelyn and Sam celebrated a wedding that was as unique and carefree as they are.
