Destin, known for its pristine beaches and emerald-green waters, played host to a wedding that epitomized opulence. The chosen venue, Ruth’s Chris in Destin, provided the perfect canvas for a celebration that radiated elegance from start to finish. With its panoramic views and impeccable service, this locale set the stage for an unforgettable Destin Florida Wedding.
Claire and Tatum chose to have their wedding in Destin Florida as a more accessible alternative to the blue waters in Mexico. Having as many family members and friends there as possible was an important part of their day so they chose a location within an easy drive from their home in Atlanta, GA.
Luckily they had a great start in planning their Destin Florida wedding by choosing the amazing Shelby Peaden, a family favorite, to plan and coordinate their day. Shelby put together a gorgeous experience for the two of them and it was a dream to photograph.
The day started with detail photos – this bouquet by Myrtie Blue was the perfect complement to Claire’s gown.
Tatum gifted Claire this beautiful Chanel bag on the morning of. That’s how you know you’ve chosen a winner <3
One of Claire’s requested photos was her niece looking at her wedding gown and this little peanut delivered flawlessly!
And of course we made sure to document their adorable matching robes.
My wonderful second shooter, Cassie, hung out with the guys while I stayed with the girls. She was able to capture these moments with Tatum and his crew. Also check out the fab Louboutins he chose for his wedding day shoes!
Tatum had their wedding date embroidered into the collar of his jacket – Claire snuck away to read a private letter from Tatum.
It was finally time to get dressed and the tears start flowing!
Claire opted for first looks with her bridal party, dad, and brother. It’s always so special to see these reactions from the people who love her most.
Instead of seeing each other before the ceremony, Claire and Tatum had a private vow reading. We made sure to position them where they could touch, but not see, each other leaving the big reveal for when Claire walked down the aisle.
This little chica was riding in style in her very own Mercedes!
Instead of hiring a stranger to officiate their wedding, Claire and Tatum had Claire’s brother act as celebrant. It was such a special moment for him to seal the deal with Claire and Tatum.
After wedding party photos we snuck Claire and Tatum away for beach sunset photos and the results were stunning!
The reception hosted some more Myrtie Blue beauties and this cake by Sweetly Sisters – it tasted as good as it looked!
After seeing these cold sparks provided by Curate Entertainment I was instantly convinced that every couple should include these in their day.
The night ended with a streamer exit and big smiles from Claire and Tatum!
